Our School
Oakworth AGC
Our Academy Governance Committee (AGC) plays a vital role in the life of Oakworth Primary School.
The Committee supports the ongoing improvement and success of the school by overseeing key areas such as the curriculum, finance, staffing, and the school environment. Reflecting the diversity of our school community, the AGC includes parents, staff, and members of the local community, all bringing valuable expertise from a range of backgrounds, including education, management, finance, safeguarding, and more.
Our Academy Committee Members are actively involved in the school’s work and carry out several important statutory responsibilities:
-
Helping to shape and uphold the school’s vision and strategic direction
-
Ensuring the school meets all its legal duties
-
Gaining a strong understanding of the school’s strengths and areas for development
-
Providing constructive challenge and support to the Leadership Team
Working in close partnership with the Headteacher and Senior Leaders, the Committee is united in its commitment to delivering the highest quality education for all pupils. We are proud supporters of Oakworth Primary and always welcome interest or feedback from parents, carers, and members of our wider community.
