Rainforest Cafe

Year 6 were very proud to showcase their hard work during a Rainforest Café which raised an amazing £170 for the Rainforest Trust. In teams across the year group, the children carefully considered and planned all of the various aspects to ensure it would be a success. They researched the problems faced by our rainforests, the impact on our lives and possible solutions. The children created beautiful artwork inspired by Henri Rousseau and even performed a Rainforest samba live during the café. One team was tasked with how this event would raise money and decided that we should bake and serve drinks, asking for donations. Passionate about change, one group gave a speech to persuade our café visitors to do all they can to help save our rainforests.
